Southwest Destinations - Bryce Canyon

What's a hoodoo? The textbook definition is a "tall thin spire of rock, protruding from the bottom of a dry drainage basin." Spend some time among the thousands of hoodoos that are the iconic features of Bryce Canyon National Park, and you'll likely form your own more personal, and perhaps spiritual definition of "hoodoo."

The surreal landscape of Bryce's famed amphiteatre can be enjoyed from above with relative ease from the park road and rim trail, or it can be experienced more intimately by walking down into and amongst the hoodoos. The unique landscape is a challenge for photographers and a lasting memory for all who visit.
