Hi Bob,

Where to start....

I should be thanking you.

We all had a brilliant time and I have described it to my colleagues as the best holiday of my life.

Jeff was amazing he made us feel at ease with him from the first night and with him taking pictures it left us more time to enjoy everything.

I didn't think seeing the hollywood sign and going over the golden bridge could be topped but seeing Shelleys reaction to the Charmed House was priceless.

The way Jeff set up the sighting of the Charmed House added to the enjoyment, he pretended to be lost so he had Shelley looking out for it.

The car was prefect for our trip and Shelley used the back seat as a cinema (her DVD player) then stretched out to sleep.

I think Dad was the most surprised, he just kept saying, i enjoyed that, i enjoyed that. Of course Arsenal beating Man United helped. We watched it in the MGM as the Crown and Anchor wanted to charge $10 each and on principle I wouldn't pay it.

The Grand Canyon was a very long trip ... going there was ok as we stopped at Williams.

The best thing about having Jeff was we didn't need to waste full days doing things that a few minutes could cover. If we booked tours they would have included things that we wouldn't have wanted to see or stay for hours at places that didn't need that long at.

Hotels ... Travelodge in Las Vegas was prefect .... i would recommend that, Crown Plaza wasn't really near anything maybe a beach front hotel would have been better (not that we had any spare time to stroll), The lady who checked us in at San Simeon was very cheeky as our keys won't work and she tried to suggest I wasn't opening the door correctly(new keys worked), Sheraton in San Francisco was perfect (we got some pool time) and was near plenty of shops for mum, and dad could see the boats. The embassy suites were luxurious and the free breakfast set us up for the flight home, the hotel also had free shuttle to airport and you could check in for the flight in the hotel.

Jeff fitted in well with my family and I hope he enjoyed being part of it for nearly 10 days. He seemed to know what we wanted so we left the decisions up to him. He even took us to great places for food which I thought would be hard as Shelley and I are very particular in what we eat.

Highs for me .... seeing the surfers and joining them on the beach, hollywood sign really close up, golden gate bridge, oh and driving on route 66 (oh was i allowed to mention that)

Shelley .... the charmed house, buffy's house and school, seeing heath ledgers joker outfit at Warner Brothers

Dad... the beautiful churches and hearst castle, streets of San Francisco.

Mum.... Shops in Las Vegas, Shops at Fishermans Wharf and Pier 39

So you can see we all enjoyed different things.

Only low was the long drive to the Grand Canyon but I would still recommend people to see it. It was breathtaking. We didn't stay long but long enough to admire and take photos. We do not have any bad feed back and if i had i would not be backward at telling you.

Many Many Thanks Wendy
